Hello! Thank you for your desire to submit your written piece to the Words category under the #ProudMalayan site. Please observe the following rules and regulations, submission instructions and guidelines before submitting. 

 

RULES AND REGULATIONS

The Administration reserves the right to not accept any submissions that are deemed inappropriate for younger or underage audiences. 

 

1. All artworks must be original and made from the one submitting. Direct copies or embellished reproductions of original pieces will not be accepted. 

2. You may only submit a maximum of 2 photos each person.

3. Please follow basic photography ethics and only take and send us photos of an appropriate nature, they must not violate any legal standpoints or offend any issues concerning human rights or environmental protection. 

4. Avoid including any foul and derogatory language in your photo. 

5. Keep the theme of your work at least PG-16. Works containing any extremely sexual, violent, racial and political themes are not allowed. 

6. Any works containing material that directly insults or demeans a single person, group, or institution is strictly prohibited. 

7. The photo may be digitally altered only to a degree (reasonable adjustment of exposure, dust removal, curves, color and contrast, etc.). Please do not cut, paste or edit the photo in a way that will extremely alter its original content and composition. 

 

Once approved, expect an email reply and your work to be posted on the website at least 2-3 days after approval. 

 

FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTSS

Please be aware that upon submitting your entries, you must ensure that you have proper parental consent. Kindly indicate this in the submission email. Failure to comply will be considered a failed entry

HOW TO SUBMIT

Email us a link to the image or the image file itself of your photo/s at mcmhyperlinksofficial@mcm.edu.ph 

 

If your photo/s is located on an existing site, gallery or blog, you may send us the link to the site directly. 

 

You may also upload your photo/s to a Google Drive, OneDrive or SharePoint and send us the shareable link of the image from there. In the event of a password change or link change after submission, please send us the new link at mcmhyperlinksofficial@mcm.edu.ph

with the subject “NEWLINK_WorkName_Name of Submitter”

 

You may also send us the image file — .jpg, .png ONLY. Please do not send any .gif files or raw .psd or Lightroom files. 

 

LABELING

When emailing us your work, please include the CATEGORY, TITLE, FULL NAME OF AUTHOR, GRADE/YEAR and SECTION/YEAR&PROGRAM as the Subject of your email and/or filename. (ex. Frames_Proud Malayan_John Doe_SHS_12Knuth OR Frames_Proud Malayan_John Doe_College_3Entrep)

 

For the Frames section, we require the TITLE and a short DESCRIPTION accompanying your piece. Please keep the description of your piece to only 2-3 sentences.
